New: Cost by Region and Tax Analytics

Two new Enterprise views — see exactly where your spend lives geographically, and get a FinOps-grade breakdown of tax and credits across both clouds.

We’ve shipped two new Enterprise features that give you sharper visibility into where your money goes and what makes up the bill.

Cost by Region

See your Azure and AWS spend broken down by geographic region, split by provider — for data-residency checks, spotting unexpected cross-region egress, and understanding how concentrated your footprint really is.

Region names arrive from the clouds in inconsistent formats, and some charges have no region at all. Cost by Region normalizes all of it into one clean dimension:

  • Global — real usage by region-less services (CDN, IAM, DNS).
  • No region — charges the provider attributes to no region: tax, support, Marketplace, reservation purchases.

Click any row to expand its per-service breakdown, so every bucket is explainable.

Tax Analytics

A dedicated, FinOps-grade view of tax and credits: effective tax rate, pre-tax vs. net spend, per-provider splits, and a monthly trend — with Include / Exclude / Allocate handling that mirrors how tools like Cloudability treat tax, for both Azure and AWS.

Both features are available on Enterprise plans and honor your global filter, date range, and display currency — so they line up with every other view.

Have a view you wish existed? Tell us — the roadmap is shaped by the teams who use CloudOptify every day.
